Trade 'n Sell Guide

Well apparently the trade n' sell is going POOF and being replaced by a shop called Vintage Gold or whatever. Anyways Fantage is going to be on a freaking RIOT because of this. Thanks. That's just what everyone needs now.

This is the Trade N' Sell. A SUPER popular place in none other than Fantage. I put together a quick guide for new people to this shop. I hope this helps :)

What Everyone CAN and CAN'T sell/trade:

Non-members: CAN sell/trade/post ecoined items. CAN'T post starred items. So anything ecoined they can do whatever they want with it. Starred items cannot be posted for trading or selling. They can only be offered as a non-member

Members: CAN trade/sell/post ecoined AND starred things. They can do whatever they want with both starred AND ecoined items.

Non-member or member, it doesn't matter, it costs 10 ecoins to post an item in the white section of the trade 'n sell, and 20 ecoins to post an item in the yellow section, or the featured.

Buying Tricks:

If you want to buy something at the Trade 'n Sell, starred or ecoined, this is the best way to do it:
Everything that has recently been posted will be at the BACK of the featured or not-featured items. Or in other words, the newest items that have been posted will be at the back of the front or back.
First off, if they have just been posted that could mean they are a really low price. I got so much stuff using this trick.
Check back every now and then to see what has been posted.

When someone posts something for you to offer or buy:

It will NOT show up right away. It takes time to process. But not any longer than 5 minutes. Even IF you refresh, you will have to wait. I usually look at new things and see what else I can offer until I can offer the item I want.

Picking the right price:

After talking to MANY people, we have all agreed the prices at the trade 'n sell are OUTRAGEOUS!!!
Ain't no one got time to buy dat
When selling an item that can easily be bought in stores, it is best to sell it at the same price as in stores, or for less. Why pay more if you can get it for less right??
NO ONE WANTS TO PAY MORE THAN WHAT THEY CAN ORIGINALLY GET IT FOR
Now, for selling rare items. It is best to keep it around the 1000-3000 range. That is what most rares are prices around
For limited items! It depends on how badly people want it. Things like Stylish Fall, Blonde Basket Ball hair, or Frisky Hair will be priced MUCH higher than items from a current event. You can ask people if the item you want to sell is worth another item. For example:
You can ask "Is Long and Elegant worth Blonde Bombshell?"
And if someone answers yes or no, you can figure out what pricing range it is.
NOTICE: An easy way to get people to buy YOUR item instead of another person's, is to price your item 1 ecoin/star LESS THAN the lowest prices item >:D

*WARNING* DOUBLE TRADES:

Do you know how scammers scam people? The MOST common way, is through a double trade. Here is an example of one:
You (Person A) have Blonde Basketball Hair. The person (Person B) you are trading with has Frisky Hair.
As you all know, Frisky is worth 750, and Basket Ball hair is worth 1,500.
Let's say you don't have enough ecoins to post. So Person B says she will post 2 items. Frisky hair and let's say, the Glass Slipper board.
Person A offers Basket Ball hair to the Glass Slipper, and some other item for the Frisky hair.
Person B accepts both items and you end up with Frisky hair and Person B ends up with Basket Ball hair. That is how it SHOULD work.
But Most of the time, Person B accepts the Basket Ball hair offer and DENIES your offer to the Frisky hair. Person B now has BOTH hairs, while you get a Glass Slipper board.
Sometimes things go right, BUT it doesn't always.
STAY AWAY FROM DOUBLE TRADES!!!
